Origami Excavated Dodecahedron

In geometry, the excavated dodecahedron is a star polyhedron that looks like a dodecahedron with concave pentagonal pyramids in place of its faces. This is a modular origami and the units are similar to my origami Dodecahedron, but with different angles (60º instead of 54º) to make equilateral triangles. You can make it with or without the color changed edges depending on which side of the unit you use.
You can use the same unit to build other figures like the triakis icosahedron.
Paper
This is a modular origami and you’ll need 30 square sheets of paper. Standard origami paper works well and I recommend small sizes like 7.5cm x 7.5cm square. Everything is well connected without glue. In the video tutorial I’m using Copper tissue-foil from origami-shop.
